The AEMC OX 9000 series (Scopix IV) represents a flagship line of portable, handheld digital oscilloscopes engineered for critical industrial maintenance, power electronics diagnostics, automated control systems, and field service engineering. Combining five distinct test instruments into a single ruggedized enclosure a multi-channel digital storage oscilloscope, an independent True RMS digital multimeter, a multi-channel harmonic analyzer, a data logger, and a component analyzer the OX 9000 series delivers benchtop laboratory precision in an ergonomic field instrument. Built with 2 or 4 isolated channels certified up to 600 V CAT III and 1000 V CAT II, the instrument allows safe, direct differential measurements on floating grounds, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and three-phase motor circuits without expensive external differential probes or short-circuit hazards. Available across multiple bandwidth configurations including the 60 MHz 2-channel OX 9062 (2150.31), 100 MHz 2-channel OX 9102 (2150.32), 100 MHz 4-channel OX 9104 (2150.33), and the high-performance 300 MHz 4-channel OX 9304 (2150.34) the series features high-speed 12-bit vertical resolution converters and real-time sampling rates up to 2.5 GS/s per channel (single-shot) and 100 GS/s in ETS mode. The isolated input BNC terminals integrate PROBIX plug-and-play probe technology, which automatically recognizes connected probes, configures attenuation factors, and provides active power directly to current clamps without external battery packs. In addition to high-speed waveform capture, the instrument performs simultaneous multi-channel harmonic analysis up to the 63rd order, comprehensive FFT analysis with mathematical functions, and long-term trend logging with sampling intervals down to 40 ms. Engineered for seamless user interaction in demanding environments, the OX 9000 series features a brilliant 7-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) color TFT capacitive touchscreen display with adjustable backlighting, paired with intuitive front-panel navigation buttons that can be operated while wearing electrical safety gloves. The instrument includes modern wireless and wired connectivity, integrating Wi-Fi, Ethernet RJ45, USB host/device ports, and an embedded web server that allows technicians to remotely control the instrument, transfer screen captures, and stream live waveforms directly through standard web browsers on a PC, tablet, or smartphone. Powered by an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery pack delivering up to 8 hours of continuous operation, the housing is built to IP54 ingress standards for dependable dust and water splash resistance. Captured waveforms, trend logs, and multimeter records are stored on an internal μSD card (up to 32 GB supported) and processed using the included SX-METRO software suite for turnkey compliance documentation and technical reporting.
