The AEMC Model OX9304 (2150.34) is the flagship, high-bandwidth model of the Chauvin Arnoux / Metrix Scopix IV portable oscilloscope family. Engineered for advanced field diagnostics and laboratory-grade measurements in industrial automation, renewable energy, and power electronics, it consolidates five independent instruments into a single portable housing: a 300 MHz 4-channel digital storage oscilloscope, an 8000-count True RMS multimeter, an FFT harmonic analyzer, a power analyzer, and a multi-channel data logger. With four isolated channels rated to 600V CAT III / 1000V CAT II, the OX9304 eliminates short circuits and dangerous ground loops, enabling safe floating differential measurements across three-phase power networks, high-speed inverter stages, and motor drives without external differential probes. The instrument is equipped with a 7-inch WVGA color TFT capacitive touchscreen supporting responsive multi-touch gesture navigation and pinch-to-zoom waveform analysis, accessible even while wearing protective work gloves. Each isolated channel features a dedicated 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) delivering sixteen times the vertical resolution of standard 8-bit portable oscilloscopes, paired with a real-time sampling rate of 2.5 GS/s per channel (single-shot mode) and 100 GS/s in ETS mode. Advanced triggering options, automatic parameter cursors, and real-time 200-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) capabilities enable precise detection of high-frequency switching transients, PWM ringing, bus ripple, and complex control anomalies. Housed in an impact-resistant, elastomer-overmolded casing rated to IP54 for ingress protection against dust and water spray, the AEMC OX9304 withstands severe industrial, outdoor substation, and production floor environments. Connectivity features include Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, and a micro-SD card slot, supported by an embedded web server (ScopeNet) that enables driverless remote instrument control, live streaming, and data transfer via standard web browsers. It integrates directly with SX-METRO and DataView software for automated documentation and regulatory reporting. Powered by a high-capacity rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack, the oscilloscope delivers up to 8 hours of continuous operation on a single charge.
