The AEMC Model OX9102 (2150.32) is a rugged, handheld portable oscilloscope from the Chauvin Arnoux / Metrix Scopix IV generation, integrating five independent test instruments into a single portable enclosure: a 100 MHz dual-channel digital storage oscilloscope, an 8000-count True RMS multimeter, an FFT harmonic analyzer, a power analyzer, and a multi-channel data logger. Equipped with two isolated channels certified to 600V CAT III / 1000V CAT II, the OX9102 eliminates dangerous ground loops, enabling technicians and field engineers to perform floating differential measurements directly on three-phase low-voltage distribution systems, variable speed drives (VFDs), and power semiconductor circuits without costly external differential probes. Featuring a 7-inch WVGA color TFT capacitive touchscreen, the instrument delivers intuitive smartphone-style gesture navigation and pinch-to-zoom waveform analysis designed for rapid operation even when wearing personal protective equipment. Each channel incorporates a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that delivers sixteen times the vertical resolution of standard 8-bit portable oscilloscopes, paired with a real-time sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s per channel (in single-shot mode) and 100 GS/s in ETS mode. Advanced triggering modes, automatic cursors, and 200-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) capabilities allow engineers to pinpoint transient voltage spikes, PWM modulation irregularities, and high-frequency noise interference across signal lines. Built into an impact-resistant, elastomer-overmolded housing rated IP54 for ingress protection against dust and water spray, the AEMC OX9102 is built for harsh field service, plant floor troubleshooting, and electrical utility environments. The instrument features versatile connectivity options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB communication, enabling remote instrument control via an embedded web server (ScopeNet), continuous data logging to internal memory or micro-SD cards, and automated compliance reporting through SX-METRO and DataView software. Powered by a high-capacity rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack, the oscilloscope provides up to 8 hours of autonomous field operation.
