The AEMC Model HX0130 (2157.02), designated as the PRHX1, is a high-bandwidth 1:10 passive oscilloscope probe designed specifically for AEMC and Metrix SCOPIX Series handheld portable oscilloscopes (including models OX 7042, OX 7062, OX 7102, OX 7104, OX 7202, OX 7204, OX 9062, OX 9102, OX 9104, and OX 9304). Engineered with proprietary PROBIX smart plug-and-play architecture, the probe communicates directly with the oscilloscope upon connection. The host instrument instantly identifies the probe type, configures the 10:1 attenuation factor, calibrates vertical scale sensitivity, and applies appropriate measurement units automatically, eliminating manual entry errors and streamlining setup in the field or laboratory. Operating with a wide frequency bandwidth up to 500 MHz, the PRHX1 enables accurate capture and reproduction of high-speed digital clocks, steep transient rise times, and complex analog waveforms without inductive ringing or significant signal distortion. Its high input impedance of 10 MΩ paired with low tip capacitance minimizes circuit loading across sensitive high-frequency test points. Built-in low-frequency and high-frequency compensation trimmers ensure optimal flat response alignment across the entire SCOPIX channel input spectrum. Designed to withstand rigorous industrial servicing, R&D electronics troubleshooting, and high-energy test environments, the Model HX0130 complies with IEC/EN 61010-031 safety standards and is rated for 300 V CAT III / 600 V CAT II installations. The probe features an ergonomic handle with tactile finger guards, a flexible high-durability coaxial cable, and an integrated latching connector that firmly locks into the SCOPIX isolated input channels.
