The AEMC Model OX9104 (2150.33) is an advanced, handheld portable oscilloscope from the Chauvin Arnoux / Metrix Scopix IV platform, consolidating five standalone test instruments into a single field-grade package: a 100 MHz 4-channel digital storage oscilloscope, an 8000-count True RMS multimeter, an FFT harmonic analyzer, a multi-channel power analyzer, and a data logger. Equipped with four fully isolated input channels certified to 600V CAT III / 1000V CAT II, the OX9104 eliminates dangerous ground loops and short-circuit hazards, allowing engineers to perform simultaneous floating measurements across three-phase power systems, complex motor drives, and control electronics without needing external differential probes. Featuring a 7-inch WVGA color TFT capacitive touchscreen, the instrument delivers intuitive smartphone-style gesture navigation, tap-to-select menus, and pinch-to-zoom waveform analysis designed for direct use even when wearing protective gloves. Each channel incorporates a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that provides 16 times higher vertical resolution than standard 8-bit portable scopes, paired with a real-time sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s per channel (in single-shot mode) and 100 GS/s in ETS mode. Advanced triggering options, automatic cursors, and 200-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) capabilities allow engineers to pinpoint PWM modulation anomalies, line noise, and high-frequency harmonics on power and signal lines. Built inside a durable, impact-resistant elastomer-overmolded housing rated IP54 for ingress protection against dust and water spray, the AEMC OX9104 is built for harsh field service, plant floor troubleshooting, and electrical utility environments. The instrument features versatile connectivity options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB communication, enabling remote instrument control via an embedded web server (ScopeNet), continuous data logging to internal memory or micro-SD cards, and automated compliance reporting through SX-METRO and DataView software. Powered by a high-capacity rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack, the oscilloscope provides up to 8 hours of autonomous field operation.
