The AEMC Model OX9062 (2150.31) is an ergonomic, handheld portable oscilloscope from the Chauvin Arnoux / Metrix Scopix IV generation, integrating five independent instruments into a single rugged field-ready enclosure: a 60 MHz dual-channel digital storage oscilloscope, a True RMS multimeter, an FFT harmonic analyzer, a power analyzer, and a data logger. Featuring two isolated channels rated to 600V CAT III, the OX9062 eliminates ground loop risks and enables safe, simultaneous floating differential measurements directly on three-phase low-voltage distribution systems, variable speed drives, and complex industrial control electronics. Equipped with a 7-inch WVGA color TFT capacitive touchscreen, the instrument delivers responsive gesture navigation and an intuitive icon-driven interface designed for rapid operation even while wearing work gloves. Each channel incorporates a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) delivering four times the vertical resolution of standard 8-bit portable scopes, paired with a real-time sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s per channel (in single-shot mode) and 100 GS/s in ETS mode. Advanced triggering options, automated cursors, and 200-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) capabilities allow engineers to accurately analyze signal distortion, transient noise spikes, and high-frequency harmonics on power and signal lines. Built inside a durable, impact-resistant overmolded housing with an IP54 ingress protection rating, the AEMC OX9062 is tailored for harsh field service, factory floor troubleshooting, and electrical substation environments. The instrument features versatile connectivity options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB communication, enabling direct remote operation via an embedded web server (ScopeNet), continuous data logging to internal or external SD cards, and comprehensive test documentation through SX-METRO and DataView software. Powered by a high-capacity rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack, the oscilloscope delivers up to 8 hours of continuous autonomous field operation.
