The Additel ADT161Ex-05-CP is a high-performance, intrinsically safe intelligent digital pressure module engineered to deliver precise compound pressure measurements across hazardous and explosive industrial environments. Designed for seamless plug-and-play integration with Additel intrinsically safe documenting process calibrators (such as the ADT226Ex and ADT227Ex series), this module eliminates the need for manual setup or field recalibration when swapped. Certified to stringent ATEX Ex ia IIC T4 Ga standards, it allows field engineers and technicians to safely calibrate and verify pressure instrumentation directly within oil, gas, chemical, and pharmaceutical operating zones. Equipped with an advanced, specially aged silicon piezoresistive sensor, the ADT161Ex-05-CP ensures outstanding long-term stability and repeatability. It delivers a reference-grade accuracy of 0.05% Full Scale (FS) across bidirectional compound spans, measuring smoothly from vacuum up through positive pressure ranges. Built-in active temperature compensation from -10°C to 50°C guarantees measurement integrity and prevents thermal drift, maintaining laboratory-level accuracy even during severe ambient field fluctuations. Constructed with a rugged stainless steel housing, the module is built to withstand demanding industrial conditions and mechanical stress. An internal microprocessor stores all sensor characterization data and factory calibration coefficients, enabling fast, interchangeable field operation across multiple pressure ranges. Every unit comes standard with an ISO 17025-accredited calibration certificate with test data, providing full international traceability and meeting strict industrial quality compliance requirements.
