The Additel ADT161Ex-05-CP2-PSI-N is an intrinsically safe, intelligent digital compound pressure module engineered for precision low-pressure testing and calibration in hazardous industrial environments. Featuring a bidirectional measuring span of ±2 psi (±0.14 bar) and an industry-standard 1/4" NPT male process connection, it connects seamlessly to Additel intrinsically safe handheld documenting calibrators, such as the ADT226Ex and ADT227Ex series. Fully certified to ATEX and IECEx Ex ia IIC T4 Ga standards, this module allows instrumentation technicians and calibration engineers to safely and efficiently verify delicate draft, vacuum, and low-pressure transmitters directly in Zone 0 classified operational areas. At the core of the module is an advanced, highly stable silicon piezoresistive sensor that delivers an outstanding reference-grade accuracy of 0.05% Full Scale (FS). The unit measures smoothly across zero from vacuum down to -2 psi up through positive pressures to +2 psi, making it an essential tool for draft ranges, tank vapor balance systems, and low-pressure differential calibrations. Built-in active temperature compensation from -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) neutralizes the effects of ambient field temperature swings, ensuring consistent measurement stability and repeatability without thermal drift. Engineered for field endurance, the ADT161Ex-05-CP2-PSI-N is enclosed in a durable 316L stainless steel housing that shields internal electronics from mechanical stress, vibration, and harsh industrial atmospheres. An onboard microprocessor stores all factory characterization data, serial numbers, and calibration coefficients, enabling instant plug-and-play interchangeability without requiring manual setup or re-zeroing on the host device. Every module is delivered complete with an ISO 17025-accredited factory calibration certificate with traceable test data, guaranteeing full compliance with international metrology and quality management standards.
