Additel ADT161Ex-BP is an advanced microprocessor-based external digital barometric pressure module engineered specifically for hazardous industrial environments. Certified Intrinsically Safe (Ex/ATEX), it delivers optimal operational safety in explosive atmospheres and connects seamlessly via plug-and-play integration with Additel process calibrators such as the ADT226Ex and ADT227Ex series. Its compact, rugged profile makes it an ideal reference standard for both field verification and high-precision laboratory metrology tasks. The module features a dedicated barometric measurement range of 60 kPa to 110 kPa with an exceptional accuracy of 55 Pa. Long-term measurement stability is driven by state-of-the-art silicon sensor technology, which undergoes rigorous screening, aging, and complete temperature compensation across operating limits from -10°C to 50°C. This specialized internal design guarantees consistent, drift-free atmospheric pressure readings even under extreme ambient temperature variations in demanding process conditions. Encased in heavy-duty stainless steel housing, the ADT161Ex-BP is built to withstand demanding industrial handling with a burst pressure rating of up to 3 times its nominal range. To ensure complete international measurement traceability, every unit comes standard with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate complete with factory test data. This combination of explosion-proof certification, 55 Pa precision, and structural durability makes it an indispensable tool for calibration and instrumentation specialists worldwide.
