The Additel ADT161Ex-02-DP is a reference-grade, intrinsically safe intelligent digital differential pressure module engineered for elite metrological precision in hazardous and explosive industrial environments. Designed for seamless plug-and-play operation with Additel intrinsically safe handheld calibrators, such as the ADT226Ex and ADT227Ex series, it allows instant sensor expansion without manual entry or field re-zeroing. Certified to stringent ATEX and IECEx Ex ia IIC T4 Ga directives, this module enables instrumentation engineers and calibration specialists to perform high-accuracy verification on critical differential pressure devices directly inside Zone 0 classified processing areas. Equipped with an advanced, highly characterized silicon piezoresistive sensor, the ADT161Ex-02-DP delivers an exceptional secondary-standard measurement accuracy of 0.02% Full Scale (FS). The module combines remarkable low-range sensitivity with superior common-mode line pressure rejection, making it the ideal solution for validating primary flow elements, orifice runs, venturi systems, and sensitive draft monitors. Active onboard temperature compensation spanning -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) neutralizes ambient thermal variations, guaranteeing laboratory-level measurement integrity and repeatability even during harsh outdoor field conditions. Engineered to endure severe plant environments, the module features a durable 316L stainless steel enclosure with dedicated high and low process ports. Its onboard microprocessor permanently stores factory calibration curves, serial identification, and range configurations, ensuring immediate recognition and complete configuration by the host calibrator upon connection. Every ADT161Ex-02-DP module is delivered standard with a factory ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration certificate with NIST-traceable test data, fulfilling the most demanding quality compliance standards across the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries.
