The Additel ADT161Ex-05-DP10-BAR is an intrinsically safe, intelligent digital differential pressure module specifically engineered for ultra-low pressure calibrations in hazardous industrial environments. Featuring a highly sensitive differential measuring span of ±25 mbar and seamlessly integrating with Additel’s intrinsically safe host calibrators like the ADT226Ex and ADT227Ex series, this module delivers instant plug-and-play functionality. Fully certified to ATEX and IECEx Ex ia IIC T4 Ga standards, it enables instrument technicians to safely and accurately calibrate sensitive draft pressure transmitters, cleanroom monitors, and low-flow devices directly within Zone 0 classified explosive zones. At the heart of the ADT161Ex05DP10BAR is an advanced, thermally screened silicon piezoresistive sensor capable of resolving minute pressure differences with exceptional stability. It delivers a reference-grade measurement accuracy of 0.05% Full Scale (FS) across its bidirectional ±25 mbar range. Because ultra-low differential pressure sensors are historically susceptible to ambient temperature changes, this module features robust, active temperature compensation from -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F). This advanced thermal profiling neutralizes environmental drift, ensuring that field calibrations performed in fluctuating outdoor conditions remain just as precise as those conducted in a controlled metrology laboratory. Engineered for demanding plant conditions, the module is encased in a heavy-duty 316L stainless steel housing featuring dual dedicated high and low process ports to accurately monitor differential drop. Its internal microprocessor permanently stores all factory characterization profiles, serial identification, and calibration coefficients, ensuring that the host calibrator instantly recognizes the module upon connection without requiring manual setup or parameter re-entry. To guarantee full compliance with international quality management systems, every ADT161Ex05DP10BAR module is delivered standard with an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited factory calibration certificate complete with traceable test data.
