The Ametek JOFRA RTCt-700B is the top-tier "Full Model" (Model B) of the flagship RTCt touchscreen dry-block reference calibrator platform, engineered for comprehensive, standalone sensor calibration across 33°C to 700°C (91°F to 1292°F). Unlike Model A (basic block) or Model C (reference and DLC inputs only), Model B integrates a full multi-channel signal conditioning and measuring block for sensors under test (UUT). It directly measures and powers RTDs, PRTs, thermocouples, thermistors, current transmitters (4–20 mA), voltage signals, and thermal switches, eliminating the requirement for external multimeters, secondary power supplies, or switch test boxes on the calibration bench or in the field.Equipped with JOFRA's patented active triple-zone block heating architecture, the RTCt-700B delivers superior axial temperature homogeneity across its 200 mm (7.9 in) deep immersion well. Three independently controlled heating zones continuously counteract ambient dissipation and stem conduction errors. When paired with JOFRA's patented Dynamic Load Compensation (DLC) probe and an intelligent external STS-200 reference sensor, the calibrator actively equalizes thermal gradient imbalances caused by sensor mass or multi-probe batches. The metrology core achieves reference accuracy down to ±0.11°C with an external STS probe (±0.29°C using the internal block sensor) and thermal stability down to ±0.008°C. The modern RTCt touchscreen platform incorporates a high-resolution, full-color capacitive touch display with real-time adaptive graphing that automatically zooms in on temperature stability micro-deviations. It includes a standard Wi-Fi dongle and built-in wireless hotspot for cable-free remote operation, live monitoring, and automated test execution through a web browser or open ASCII communication protocol. Encased in a rugged aluminum chassis with protective elastomeric corner bumpers, the RTCt-700B delivers fast thermal ramping (33°C to 700°C in 45 minutes), integrated 24 VDC transmitter loop power with a 250 Ω HART burden resistor, automated switch-test detection, and seamless JOFRACAL software documentation compliant with EURAMET/cg-13 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
