The Ametek JOFRA RTCt-700C is a next-generation high-temperature dry-block reference calibrator engineered with an advanced touchscreen interface and wireless connectivity, designed specifically for accredited metrology laboratories, power generation facilities, and demanding industrial sensor verification. Operating across a temperature span of 33°C to 700°C (91°F to 1292°F), the RTCt-700C represents the specialized "Middle Model" (Model C) of JOFRA's flagship RTCt touch platform. It features dedicated measuring inputs for an intelligent external STS-200 reference sensor and JOFRA's patented Dynamic Load Compensation (DLC) sensor. By omitting the internal sensor-under-test measuring block found on Model B, the RTCt-700C provides a focused, cost-effective solution for facilities utilizing external multimeters, multi-channel data acquisition racks, or existing transmitter readouts.  Engineered with JOFRA's patented active triple-zone heating block architecture, the RTCt-700C provides homogeneous temperature distribution across its 200 mm (7.9 in) deep well. Lower, middle, and upper heating zones are independently regulated via microprocessor control to counteract axial stem conduction and ambient thermal loss. When paired with the optional DLC sensor, the unit actively detects and neutralizes radial and axial gradients within the insert bore caused by large probe masses or multi-sensor loads. The RTCt metrology core delivers laboratory accuracy down to ±0.11°C when paired with an external STS reference sensor (±0.29°C using the internal block sensor) and thermal stability down to ±0.008°C. Distinguished from traditional push-button calibrators, the RTCt platform integrates a full-color capacitive touchscreen with real-time adaptive graphing that automatically zooms in on micro-deviations as thermal stability is achieved. An included Wi-Fi dongle and built-in wireless hotspot enable cable-free remote control, monitoring, and data exchange via a web browser interface or open ASCII communication protocol. Built in an impact-resistant aluminum enclosure with protective corner bumpers, the RTCt-700C ramps to 700°C in 45 minutes and interfaces directly with JOFRACAL calibration software via USB, ensuring traceability compliant with EURAMET/cg-13, ISO/IEC 17025, and FDA/cGMP audit standards.
