Delivering exceptional Class 0.2 accuracy ($\pm0.2\%$) with virtually negligible phase displacement, this current clamp is built for critical measurement tasks where revenue-grade integrity is paramount. Its passive current transformer design operates without internal batteries, drawing power directly from the host meter to ensure dependable, drift-free performance across utility frequencies from 48 Hz to 65 Hz.Engineered with a streamlined mechanical profile, the MN94 features a narrow jaw capable of clamping conductors up to 0.63 inches (16 mm) in diameter. This compact form factor allows electrical engineers, technicians, and energy auditors to easily navigate crowded breaker boxes, high-density switchboards, and tight metering compartments where larger or flexible sensors cannot fit. The non-intrusive clamp-on mechanism enables safe testing on live conductors, eliminating the need to interrupt active circuits or disconnect commercial loads.To streamline field operations, the probe includes an integrated 10-foot (3 m) shielded cable fitted with AEMC’s proprietary molded 4-pin connector. When plugged into a PowerPad IV 8345 or PEL 52 instrument, the probe is instantly recognized and automatically configured, removing the risk of manual scaling errors and speeding up testing workflows.
