The Greyline Instruments PZ32TE [PZ32TE-50XC] is a Teflon-faced ultrasonic level sensor designed for continuous level monitoring, particularly in corrosive or demanding environments. It is often used with Greyline level controllers (like the LIT25) for open channel monitoring, tank level measurement, or wastewater applications. The Greyline Instruments PZ32TE is a non-contacting, 42 KHz ultrasonic level sensor designed for continuous, maintenance-free measurement of liquids up to 32 ft (10 m) in tanks or open channels. It features a PVC/Teflon construction with a 3/4" NPT mount, 8° beam angle, 12" deadband, and operates between -40° to 150°F (-40° to 65°C). Designed specifically for open channel flow applications, the Greyline PZ32TE level sensor can be installed 12" or more above the highest water level. It is rated for measurement ranges up to 32 feet. The Greyline PZ32TE sensor mounts above the flowing liquid so there is no fouling and no maintenance is required. It will not be damaged by accidental submersion.
