Elcometer 510 [F510-20S] Automatic Pull-Off Adhesion Tester, Model S,  20mm Kit . The tester is portable, requires no external power source and ideal for lab and field use. Conversion charts not required, tester automatically calculates pressure based on dolly size. Internal Memory stores maximum pull-off pressure, rate of pull, test duration and dolly size for up to 200 pulls.

Pull Off Adhesion is a simple to use, quantitative range giving a definitive adhesion value, ideal for the laboratory or field on flat or curved substrate application. Tensile Dollies (or stubs) are glued to the coating and, when the adhesive has cured, the force required to pull the coating off the surface is measured.

When testing coatings on low bond strength substrates such as concrete, wood or other fibrous materials, a larger surface area of dolly (50mm) is required to provide accurate, repeatable and reproducible results.
