Elcometer UG20DL Underwater Corrosion Thickness Gauge

The Model UG20DL is an underwater thickness gauge that measures with extreme versatility. It has the ability to measure coatings and material thickness simultaneously while maintaining the ability to locate pits, flaws and defects in the material. Based on the same operating principles as SONAR, the Model UG20DL is capable of measuring the thickness of various materials with accuracy as high as 0.01 millimetres (0.004 inches). The principal advantage of ultrasonic measurement over traditional methods is that ultrasonic measurements can be performed with access to only one side of the material being measured. The Model UG20DL includes a data-logging (memory) facility which allows readings to be stored in the memory before being downloaded to a computer.
