The Humimeter LM6 Leather Moisture Meter was designed to quickly and easily determine the water content of different types of leather. The LM6 measures moisture non-destructively, measurements are taken by placing the instrument on the material with the back-side. The moisture percentage and temperature appear on the display within a few seconds.

Handling and measurement process
After selecting the right characteristic (depending on the density of the leather), the leather moisture meter humimeter Place LM6 on a stack of leather hides at least 10mm thick (e.g. on the buck) and press firmly. The absolute leather moisture and the temperature can be read immediately from the display. The leather is not damaged by the measuring process.
The average water content can be determined in a matter of seconds by taking several measurements at different points.
