Leupold's 6x22 RX-1200i with DNA Laser Rangefinder integrates a Class I IR eye-safe laser into a fully multicoated roof prism monocular to create an accurate and versatile digital ranging system. It utilizes Leupold's proprietary Digitally eNhanced Accuracy (DNA) algorithm to provide fast ranging in under 1 second with accuracy to 1/10 of a yard regardless of background colors or textures. It employs an Organic LED (OLED) that reflects the system and ranging information into the optical path. Projecting the information in this manner eliminates the commonly-used LCD display films which interfere with light transmission and reduce image brightness. You can turn the OLED off to use the RX-1200i as a traditional 6x22 monocular.
The quick set menu makes the rangefinding, operation modes, and display options quick and easy to use in the field. Three different reticle patterns make acquiring and tracking targets easy and precision ranging simple. Low, medium, and high display intensities enable it to be tailored to the lighting conditions, while single and continuous-scan modes offer multiple ranging techniques depending on the situation. The battery will last through at least 4,000 measurements, and the in-view battery-indicator constantly updates the power status. To conserve power, the unit will automatically turn off after 7 seconds.
