The Dakota Ultrasonics Mini-Max bolt tension monitor can ultrasonically measure the actual elongation produced by tightening a threaded fastener. This bolt tension monitor allows you to effectively monitor your bolts during periodic shutdowns over the service life of the fastener and visually compare the unloaded and loaded waveforms.

Other features of the Dakota Ultrasonics Mini-Max bolt tension monitor include a 1/8" 240 x 160 pixel display, storage of up to 8,000 readings and waveforms in multiple groups and built-in linear regression or vector for optimizing load measurements. Measurement quantities include time (nanoseconds), elongation, load, stress and %-strain.

The Dakota Ultrasonics Mini-Max bolt tension monitor is available with or without a temperature connector. Models with the temperature connector include a temperature sensor (with 6' cable) which allows for automatic temperature compensation.

The Dakota Ultrasonics Mini-Max bolt tension monitor ships complete with meter, batteries, couplant, RS232 transfer cable (Lemo to DB9), carrying case, tranducer cable (10' Lemo to Microdot), software, manual and certification. Transducers are NOT included. They must be purchased as accessories.

The auto-set feature automatically optimizes detection and adjusts display. A hi/lo alarm tolerance limits work in conjunction with the data port and external pump shut-off device.
