The Horiba IG Series gloss meters feature a digital display and bring pinpoint accuracy to gloss evaluation. The IG-320 model takes high-precision measurements with an integral light source and detector, while letting the user gather and view averaged data. The IG-331 model offers high-efficiency and flexibility utilizing a separate detector and light source, with the ability to switch between 60° and 20° measurement angles.
The Horiba IG-320 gloss meter has an incident angle and reception angle of 60° with a 12mm x 6mm measuring oval. The LED light source (880 nm) and SPD (silicone photodiode) detector provide a measuring range of 0 to 100.0 and display range of 0 to 199.0 (resolution 0.1).
The Horiba IG-331 gloss meter has incident and reception angles of 60° (60° measurement) and 20° (20° measurement). The measuring area for 60° is a 3mm x 4mm oval and 3mm x 4mm for 20°. The IG-331's LED light source has a wavelength of 890nm and a measuring range and display range of 0 to 100 and 0 to 199, respectively. Both the IG-320 and IG-331 gloss meters offer reproducibility of ±5% F.S. ±1 digit.
