Like the RainWise model MK-III-RTN, the MK-III-RTN-LR sensor array combines all outside sensor components into a single compact unit that's easy to install. This model includes all of the sensor components found on the MK-IIIRTI-LR, except for the rain gauge. If rainfall measurements are not of interest to you, and your application requires a long distance between sensors and receivers, the MK-III-RTN-LR is a perfect solution. With a transmission range of over one mile line of sight, this sensor array is a great choice for applications where remote conditions must be monitored from outside of the 400 foot range of standard models.

The wireless, rugged outdoor sensor array runs completely on solar power. The MKIII solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continuous operation below 60 degrees latitude and will operate for at least 60 days without sun.Unless you're purchasing the unit as a replacement, the MK-III-RTN-LR sensor array requires a RainWise Long Range Display and/or the optional Computer/Network Interface. The sensor array can broadcast weather data to multiple displays, computers or network interfaces. The sensor array transmits a packet of data every two seconds.
