Teledyne LeCroy HDO4000A Series [HDO4054A-MS] 500 MHz 4+16 Channel HD Mixed Signal Oscilloscope

The HDO4054A-MS from Teledyne LeCroy is a four-channel 500MHz high-definition oscilloscope with an extra 16 digital channels to allow simultaneous analog and digital debug and/or triggering.  This HDO scope offers a remarkable 12-bit ADC resolution (up to 15 bit with enhanced resolution) and 2.5GSa/s sample rate (and up to 10 GSa/s in the “enhanced sample rate” mode.  It’s large waveform memory (up to 50 Mpts/Channel) and easy-use MAUI OneTouch user interface on a huge 12’1” LCD, make it a an engineer’s dream tool!  Exceptional Serial Data and other investigative tools (up to 23 serial standard protocols) are available for advanced tasks.  With a faster processor than its predecessor, more RAM plus a solid state drive, this scope has 16 times more resolution than most available oscilloscopes, so you can really see what’s going on to a fine level. Tiny variations are lost with other 8-bit scopes but not with Teledyne LeCroy’s  HD4096 high definition technology, which quantizes captured signal in 16 times smaller steps than an ordinary 8-bit scope.  Waveforms captured and displayed on oscilloscopes with HD4096 technology are clean and crisp.
