HANNA Instruments HI-208 [HI208-02] Education pH Benchtop Meter with Built-In Magnetic Stirrer

The HI208-02 is a basic, affordable pH benchtop meter that features a built-in magnetic stirrer and automatic calibration to 1 or 2 points with a choice of two sets of preprogrammed buffers. All readings are automatically compensated for temperature variations from the supplied HI1291D two-in-one pH and temperature sensor. The meter has an easy-to-read LCD that displays pH and temperature simultaneously. With features such as a built-in beaker and electrode holder, compact design, and the ability to switch to battery power, the HI208 is a meter designed for a busy classroom environment or can be taken outside the classroom for field studies.

The HI208-02 is a basic affordable pH benchtop meter ideal for educational purposes. Operation is simplified with automatic pH calibration and automatic temperature compensation. This meter also features a built-in 500 rpm magnetic stirrer, extended pH range, dual-level LCD with icons for stability and buffer recognition, and temperature display in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

The HI208-02 can be calibrated to 1 or 2 points with a choice of two sets of preprogrammed buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01, 10.01 or 4.01, 6.86, 9.18). The HI208-02 also utilizes the HI1291D two-in-one pH and temperature probe which allows for automatic temperature compensation with accuracy of ±0.5°C (up to 60°C).

The compact design of the HI208, makes it ideal for educational use by reducing clutter and utilizing a minimal amount of space on the desktop. The option to switch to battery power also allows the meter to be taken outside the classroom for field studies.
