Chauvin Arnoux's F65 clamp meter is an upgraded version of the CA 362, including much more accurate measurements thanks to integrated RMS technology which helps the tester to maintain accuracy when testing on irregular signals.
This device can be used to measure current between a range of 30μA to 100A AC, AC/DC voltage from 0.1V to 600V, frequency from 5Hz to 1kHz and resistance from 0.1Ω to 1kΩ. It also includes the ability to carry out audible continuity testing.
Since this is an earth leakage clamp meter, it is best suited for the detection of leakage current and isolation faults, with high resolution and high immunity (70dB) immunity to parasite current. This enables measurements of leakage current that can trigger RCD, allowing imbalances of phase to phase and phase to earth to be detected. An anti-harmonics filter also makes this device suitable for testing on switched power supplies, speed variators, inverts and other equipment.
The Chauvin Arnoux F65 is pocket-sized, rugged and ideal for use in a wide variety of environments. The jaws that are attached to this device are 28mm in size, making this product suitable for attachment to smaller and medium-sized conductors.
Additional functions of this leakage clamp include a backlit, 10000 count LCD screen, data hold, MAX value, differential value and an automatic switch-off function.
