The Chauvin Arnoux F603 True RMS Clamp Meter is a practical clamp meter that is suitable for high power installations and circuits, for example in electrical distribution and transmission. It measures AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, frequency, and temperature as well as carrying out continuity and diode testing. Different ranges and resolutions are available for each parameter and the 60mm jaw clamp can fit around bunched wires and large cables. Inrush current measurement allows proper assessment of circuit behaviour during motor start-up phases whilst True RMS improves accuracy on non-linear wave patterns.
In addition to the impressive measurement features that the Chauvin Arnoux F603 provides as standard, it also has the capacity to act as an adaptor for other probes, thus greatly increasing the number of possible measurement parameters. Min/max data recording, coupled with relative and differential calculations provide an in-depth look at all outputs in order to furnish the user with a complete picture.
The Chauvin Arnoux F603’s ergonomic design makes it easy to use one-handed when wearing protective gloves. Features like the grooved dial and simple push buttons compensate for the meter’s large size. An IP rating of IP54 certifies that the clamp meter is resistant to dust whilst Cat III and Cat IV ratings to 1000V ensure that it is an industry-leading instrument in terms of safety. It comes supplied with a thermocouple, test leads, test probes and a case.
