The 5490C Series 5½ and 6½-digit benchmultimeters are designed for accuracy,repeatability and ease-of-use. A widemeasurement range with speeds up to 1000readings per second, and a basic DCV accuracyup to 35 ppm deliver stable measurement resultsquickly and accurately. These general purposemeters are well suited for demandingengineering, production and service applications.The multimeters feature simple and intuitiveswitching between the 12 measurementfunctions and display modes for a variety of testsetups. Display modes include bar meter, trendchart, and histogram which can be combined withstatistics or math functions. The dualmeasurement feature enables the simultaneousdisplay of 2 measurements, e.g. AC voltage andfrequency. Additionally, Limit mode and Probehold mode allow users to conveniently verify andcompare readings. For remote communication, this series includesstandard LAN, USB (USBTMC-compliant) andRS232 interfaces, as well as a GPIB option.A LabVIEWTM driver is provided to simplifysystem integration and instrument control.The front panel USB host port can be used fortransferring screen captures and measurementdata, logged with date and time stamp, from themultimeter's internal memory to a computer.
