The Chauvin Arnoux CA6240 Micro Ohmmeter is powerful instrument that boasts resistance measurement between 0Ω and 400Ω with a maximum resolution of 1µΩ and basic accuracy of ±0.25%. This is achieved using the four-wire measurement technique with current reversal and test currents of 10mA to 10A. Such functionality makes this ohmmeter suitable for a range of uses including checking contact resistance in switches, measuring earth continuity, assessing the quality of weld spots, surface condition and metallisation testing, and graphite electrode testing.
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6240 has two measurement modes for allowing quick and comprehensive testing. Automatic mode performs a test as soon as continuity is achieved between the measurement points so it is possible to perform consecutive tests with no intervention from the user. Measurements are also automatically recorded to the ohmmeter’s internal memory.
A large backlit LCD display shows readings clearly and concisely and a rechargeable NimH battery makes the Chauvin Arnoux CA6240 fully portable. The protective casing is leakproof up to IP53 standard and a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty is provided as standard.
