The Radiodetection LMX200 Portable Ground Penetrating Radar System provides an exceptional balance of depth penetration up to 8m/26ft and extremely high resolution. Offering a detailed picture of an underground infrastructure, with it's user-friendly and intuitive interface the LMX200 is ideal for accurately locating buried assets. Consisting of a patented ultra-wideband (UWB) 250 MHz GPR antenna and dynamic target enhancement (DynaT), the built-in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is designed to optimise discovering buried utilities. What sets the LMX200 apart from other GPR systems is the inclusion of advanced features such as depth slice imaging and in-field interpretations. Easy to master, simply press start and push the cart while the hyperbola-fitting ensures accurate measurements displaying both location and depth.

Presented with the Portable LMX200 GPR System, Dynamic Stacking (DynaQ) automatically adjusts stacking (averaging) based on your survey speed which ensures better data quality. With DynaT, enhance small, medium and large targets while a preset filter and adjustable gain optimise the visibility of your targets. The LMX200 has the notable advantage of being able to detect:

  • Metal utilities including pipes and cables
  • Non-metallic pipes such as PVC and asbestos cement
  • Concrete storm and sewer systems
  • Utilities with broken or failed tracer wires
  • Trenches and disturbed soil often associated with utility burial
  • Unexpected obstacles or buried structures such as old foundations
  • Underground storage tanks, drainage tiles and other septic system components
  • Non-utility structures such as vaults, foundation walls or concrete pads
  • Undocumented utilities

The LMX200 presents the operator with complete coverage of complex areas by processing grid data into depth slices. Move down through your collected data in order to visualise targets at different depths whilst still in the field, through flexible pre-selected grid sizes where you can stop lines early or skip lines entirely. The system will even guide data collection around an obstacle in your grid and thanks to the built-in GPS the MapView option can visualise all of your grids at once to produce a complete picture. This real-time MapView is available during data collection, visualising your survey path, seeing interpretations as you add them, reviewing data for the more subtle targets you may have missed and keeping a constant track of your previous locations.

With Wi-Fi incorporated, the Radiodetection LMX200 can utilise it's Screenshot Gallery to create instant on-site reports viewable on the display unit. Share these reports with customers over Wi-Fi with an option to add data markers which will highlight key points of interest. All screenshots are geo-tagged and exported in a KMZ file, suitable for archiving and easily displayed in Google Earth. The high visibility touch screen works even when wearing gloves and boasts user selectable languages, resistive screen protection and metric or US standard unit options. A USB port allows for an alternative method of transferring data and the lead acid gel battery is both long lasting & completely swappable. The lightweight build of the LMX200 makes transportation easy and the lack of metal parts guarantees no interference with any GPR signals. This rugged, all-terrain fibreglass unit has an integrated odometer and is supplied with free system software updates covering it's entire lifespan.
