AdirPro’s LP103 Cross Line Laser is a self leveling horizontal and vertical alignment tool with an accuracy of within 3 degrees. The two, independent line beams are generated from 10mw 635nm laser diodes. The beams generated have an accuracy of ±1/8 inch at 10 feet (±3mm at 3m).
Design
Small, and compact, this cross line laser is easy to handle. Weighing just 10 oz, this unit can fit in the palm of your hand. It’s easy to transport and has a minimal storage footprint.
The LP103 has a user friendly operation. The laser is operated with just one button (in addition to the power button) to switch between the 4 operation modes.
The heavy duty plastic is trimmed with a thick rubber casing to protect the model against standard bumps that occur during transportation and on a jobsite.
Leveling
The unit uses a magnetic damping compensator to provide a quick leveling. Once the unit levels itself, the highly visible horizontal and vertical beams stabilize, allowing you to use it for alignment almost immediately.
So long as the laser beam is a constant line you know that the laser is leveled. The unit will indicate that it is out of self-leveling range by changing the laser beam from being a constant line to a blinking one.
Additionally, there is a built-in locking system to ensure that the compensator does not shift during transportation due to vibrations.
Mounting Options
The threading of the LP103 Cross Line Laser nut is ¼”. It comes with a coordinating standard L-shaped mounting bracket. The laser can be mounted directly to the bracket (once it’s secured to the wall) or onto a tripod that has a ¼” threading (or if you have a 5/8” to ¼” male adapter). As an extra bonus, there is a ¼” adapter included so that you can secure the bracket to a tripod and the unit to the bracket.
Accessories
The LP103’s standard outfit includes laser, wall mount, securing adapter, soft, red target, and a soft carrying case. Your first set of 3 AA batteries is included as well.
