GW Instek GDM-8255A portable precision multimeters engages with 5 1/2 digits, dual-display, 0.012% high DC voltage accuracy and various advanced measuring function to make electrical relative signal measurement faster and easier. In addition, the standard RS-232 and USB device make the GDM-8255A an ideal tool and inexpensive solution for field service, development/maintenance, education and ATE system applications.
The GDM- 8255A provides 9 major measuring functions such as DCV/ACV, DCI/ACI, 2w/4w Resistance, Diode, Frequency, Continuity test and Temperature. The 0.012% DC voltage accuracy provides user the best measuring precision at the DC voltage applications. In addition, there are several advanced measuring functions such as Max, Min, dB, dBm, REL/REL#, Hold, Compare and Math functions to enhance the serviceability of measuring results.
It offers varieties of dual display combinations with main measurement function which allows the GDM-8255A to measure two properties of input signal. The dual display function can save customers measuring time when dealing with applications require multiple parameters simultaneously.
The Instek GDM-8255A provides the standard multiple interfaces for PC connection: RS232C and USB device port. Unlike the common RS232 transfer speed, the GDM-8255A even raises the baud rate up to 115200, which is 12 times faster.
The optional scanner card (GDM-SC1), creates a self-contained multipoint measurement solution with plug-in design. This approach eliminates the complexities of multipoint measurements and data processing. The scanner lets users effectively measure multiple channels connected to a single GDM-8255A.
