The TKDEZT-865-D Ergo-Zoom Trinocular Microscope also includes the model FL3000-D 150W Halogen Light Source with Dual Gooseneck Fiber Optic Light Guide. The FL3000-D is a fiber optic illuminator that provides years of high performance use. The illuminator features an internal IR filter that retains all heat to the power box, allowing cool, bright light to enter the fiber optic cable. The solid state design of the FL3000-D provides up to 45% more light than the competition. In addition, its bifurcated dual gooseneck offers 18 in. of total fiber reach. A set of focusable lenses is included on the fiber, allowing for optimum light dispersion. You can focus the light into very tight circles, or remove the lenses for a wide broadcast of light. The FL3000-D furthermore offers fully variable intensity control.
