General Tools DMM53FSG Handheld Heavy-Duty Digital Multimeter

The General Tools DMM53FSG is a heavy-duty service multimeter notable for its 0 to 20 μA DC range. A range this narrow is needed by HVAC/R technicians to coordinate the opening and closing of a furnace or burner's gas valves with the presence or absence of a flame. As a general-purpose multimeter, the DMM52FSG has an excellent figure of merit of 11 functions and 32 ranges. It can measure AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance and capacitance, as well as check circuit continuity and diode integrity. The meter also can measure surface temperatures over a range of -4° to 1832° F with ±2% accuracy through an included "K" type thermocouple probe. The DMM52FSG is ETL certified safe for CAT III 600V use and it can survive drops from a height of 2 m (6.6 ft.)
