Light meter PCE-TT 100Transmittance meter for measuring transmission of visible light and UV on glasses. The light meter PCE-TT 100 is used to measure the transmission of visible light and UV light. For this purpose, the light meter uses a light source and a spectrophotometric sensor. Essentially, the light meter is used to measure the transmission of light through lenses, sunglasses and all other lenses. The light meter is used in glass production but also in opticians to test, for example, the quality of sunglass lenses.
The light meter has a USB interface to connect the PCE-TT 100 to a computer. In the supplied software, a reference measurement is first performed without the glass being placed on it with the light meter. After successful measurement, the user can now place the glass to be measured between the light source and the sensor. With a simple click, the test material is now measured by the light meter.
In the software of the light meter, the percentage deviations from the reference measured value are displayed directly. These include, shading, UV filtering, color of the glass and more. In addition to the numerical display of the measured values, the filtering of the light over the entire spectrum is graphically processed.
