Crowcon Detective+ [DP-ADAGZZZZ-D001-A] Transportable Area Monitor, 2-Gas, BUT % LEL, O2, Non-pumped, Standard Battery with Rigid Legs English ATEX
The Crowcon Detective Plus is an area monitor for Combustible, Oxygen and Toxic gas detection with optional wireless capability. Rapidly deployable in industrial and remote gas detection applications. Suitable for continuous area monitoring with the versatility of being moved to another location if required. A single unit can be used for small area monitoring while personnel are working. To protect larger areas, up to 12 Detectives can be linked, providing a perimeter defence.

Designed for operation in harsh environments, impact-resistant, featuring a rugged tripod design that will continue to function even if overturned. The unit’s main body is constructed from fire retardant, high-impact, UV stabilised ABS plastic. The unit features a highly visible display, with high contrast LCD and a backlight with two lines of 24 characters. The standard monitoring time is 36 hours using the 7.2Ah battery; this can be extended to 60 hours by opting for the 12Ah battery pack. Note charging should be done in safe areas only.

The sensors are located on the underside of the unit for protection. A manual aspirator can be attached for spot sampling. The instrument may be configured to detect any practical combination of oxygen, toxic and flammable gas using electrochemical, catalytic and thermal conductivity sensors. Infrared long-lasting poison immune sensors for Flammable or Carbon Dioxide gases can also be fitted. A pump option for automatic sampling is available.

Audible is a wailing, omnidirectional siren, 104 dBA at 1 metre. Used widely in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and General Industry. Three high-intensity red light beacons indicate the presence of hazardous gas levels on the top of the unit and a high volume audible sounder on the underside of the unit. Slow flashing green LED indicates normal working, and a fast flashing green LED indicates a low battery. Visual LED clusters flash rapidly with linked detectives duplicating the alarm, but more slowly so the Detective closest to the hazard can be pinpointed.
