Portable, ultra-compact and lightweight, the MX 531 fits comfortably in one hand and is plugged directly into the socket. It quickly detects the earth resistance by no-trip measurement and checks the connections of the line, neutral and earth conductors in a TT system. The 30mA trip checks that there is an RCD connected to the power socket.

The MX 531 earth tester is reliable is reliable, simple and accurate with a resolution as fine as 0.1 Ω. Once the instrument has been connected correctly (earth present, 230 V supply, phase right or phase left), the earth resistance value is displayed instantaneously in the lower part of the 3-digit LCD screen. As soon as the MX 531 is connected to a 2P+E 10/16 A socket, it instantaneously displays the socket’s connection status, taking advantage of the top-quality backlit LCD screen. The display changes colour according to the conformity of the installation: if the installation complies with the standards, the display turns blue, but it changes to red if there is a fault or a problem with the earth connection.
