This Chauvin Arnoux tachometer can be used to accurately gain measurements of RPM in various different applications.
A handheld, portable device, the Chauvin Arnoux CA1725 is designed for use in just one hand and features a rotary dial for easily adjusting the modes of the tester. The device also includes a selection of button for adjusting commonly used features and the main body of the unit includes a large LCD screen that can be easily viewed when testing procedures are taking place.
This tachometer is both a non-contact device and can also be used to carry out contact tachometer measurements via the use of various fitting types (see tech specs for more information on these). The non-contact mode of this tachometer requires the use of a reflective strip and an infrared beam from the tester. The reading is calculated based on the infrared light bouncing from the rotating piece of machinery.
