Fieldpiece JL3LC Job Link System Wireless Premium Large Pipe Clamp Probe for SMAN Manifolds,  -50°F to 257°F (-46°C to 125°C) Range, 3/4 in. to 4-1/8 in. Diameter. The Fieldpiece JL3LC Job Link System Wireless Premium Large Pipe Clamp Probe is designed to take measurements on pipes as small as 3/4 inches and as large as 4-1/8 inch diameter. The large clamping capability allows the user to forgo the use of unreliable zip ties for added convenience, precision, and speed. The high-tech pipe clamp is rugged, versatile, and wireless and offers single-hand operation for easier hard-to-reach area jobs. Measurements can be taken from up to 1000 feet away and quick pipe temperature readings can be obtained on the SMAN Digital Refrigerant Manifolds or Job Link System App. The large wireless range offers a distance of up to 350 feet for communication with either the model SM380V or SM480V manifold and app. If looking for all of the same benefits of the JL3LC without the wireless capabilities, the TC48 Type-K Large Pipe Clamp Thermocouple (not included) offers standard wired operation. The JL3LC is suited for any commercial, refrigeration or residential/light commercial HVACR professional in search of fast precision readings without the inconvenience of straps, tapes, or zip ties. With consistent clamping force, the JL3LC is unaffected by ambient air, dust, paint, corrosion, or insulation on the pipe surface. The perfect balance of size and capability allows for quick deployment on a system. The grooved handle inspires confidence when gripping. This unit works on a wide range of pipes from residential suction lines to large commercial systems. The Rapid Rail technology sensor is specifically designed to work on HVACR electrically conductive piping, using the pipe itself to complete the circuit. Readings are extremely fast and accurate, even on wet or damp pipes. The user can easily measure the temperature of pipes that are affixed to walls or other surfaces, regardless of angle.
