The AEMC MA193-14-BK (2140.50) is a high-performance, 14-inch flexible AC current sensor engineered for seamless integration with AEMC’s PowerPad and PEL series power and energy loggers. Utilizing advanced Rogowski coil technology, this sensor enables accurate, wide-range current measurements from 100 mA up to 3000 A AC without saturating. Powered directly by the host instrument through its proprietary connector, it eliminates the need for external batteries, making it a reliable and maintenance-free measurement solution for continuous power quality monitoring and energy audits.   Designed with a 14-inch (356 mm) sensor length that delivers a generous clamping diameter of approximately 3.94 inches (100 mm), the MA193-14-BK easily wraps around large conductors, dense cable bundles, and irregularly shaped busbars that standard rigid-jaw clamp meters cannot navigate. Its slim, flexible profile and intuitive push-and-twist latching mechanism allow electricians and engineers to effortlessly thread the coil through crowded switchgear panels, motor control centers, and confined electrical enclosures with minimal mechanical disturbance.   Engineered to endure the demanding conditions of industrial and commercial electrical environments, the sensor includes a 10-foot (3-meter) shielded lead that maintains high signal integrity and noise rejection while allowing comfortable distance from live panels. Rated for 1000 V CAT III and 600 V CAT IV overvoltage installation categories, the MA193-14-BK provides technicians with dependable safety margins during heavy-duty utility, industrial plant maintenance, and electrical load profiling applications.
