The AEMC 2140.44 is a genuine OEM replacement voltage measurement lead and alligator clip assembly engineered for use with AEMC PowerPad power quality analyzers and PEL series power and energy loggers. Designed specifically to meet the high-reliability demands of industrial and utility electrical testing, this assembly provides a secure, low-impedance electrical connection between energized test points and the host instrument’s voltage inputs. The assembly features an extra-long 10-foot (3-meter) lead that allows test technicians to comfortably position logging equipment outside the direct arc flash boundary or at the bottom of tall switchgear enclosures while taking measurements at overhead busbars or high terminal blocks. Constructed with high-flexibility double-insulated silicone or reinforced PVC wire, the test lead maintains superior suppleness, tangle resistance, and dielectric integrity across severe operating temperatures. One end of the cable terminates in a 4 mm safety-shrouded right-angle or straight banana plug designed to fit securely into standard recessed instrument input jacks, while the opposite end connects to the included heavy-duty safety alligator clip.
