Waygate Technologies Krautkramer MSW-QC [113-245-591] Style Miniature Angle Beam Transducer, Benchmark Series, 7.5 MHz, 0.5 Inch (13 mm) Dia. Waygate Technologies Krautkramer MSW-QC Style Angle Beam Transducers, Baker Hughes business products (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), are miniature transducers that work with "Quick Change" Lucite wedges. All MSW-QC transducers have top-mount Microdot connectors. Please keep in mind cables are not included with this purchase. The MSW-QC Transducers come in three different series, the Gamma Series, Benchmark Series, and Alpha Series. Gamma series utilize conventional monolithic ceramic elements and are recommended for regular inspection of non-attenuative materials. Gamma series also come in 10.0 Mhz frequency levels. Benchmark series probes feature exclusive BENCHMARK COMPOSITE® active elements. Benchmark series are unique due to their superior combination of sensitivity, resolution, and penetration for penetrating attenuative materials. Benchmark Series works well when the signal to noise ratio is a problem, such as coarse grain materials and fiber reinforced composites. Alpha series MSW-QC probes work well when short pulse lengths are required for axial resolution. These probes are made with highly damped monolithic ceramic elements.
