The Thermo Scientific Orion AQ4000 AQUAfast IV colorimeter is the most advanced portable microprocessor-based, LED colorimeter on the market today. The AQ4000 AQUAfast IV can be used for most common colorimetric measurements including COD.

The AQUAfast IV features the exclusive Auto-ID test recognition capability that automatically recognizes the test and initiates measurement. Coupled with Thermo Scientific Orion's Auto-Test, colorimetric testing has never been easier. Auto-Test cuvettes are pre-measured and self-filling, designed for many of the common water quality measurements. The AQUAfast IV features pre-programmed methods as well as a custom calibration procedure. The AQ4000 is so advanced, a user can customize a calibration and create a completely custom method. Up to 12 data points can be used to define a custom method and a maximum of ten methods can be stored in the colorimeter's memory.

The AQ4000 AQUAfast IV colorimeter stores up to 189 pre-programmed methods and can record 100 data points in the field with a time and date stamp. Saved results can be downloaded later to a printer or computer in the lab. Selection of display units is a button press away. Selectable measurement units include concentration, absorbance or percent transmittance. A simple user interface steps the user through setup and custom methods. The AQ4000 will never become obsolete because new methods can be easily downloaded to the unit.
