The ZipLevel PC Serial Link ZLP-PCL connects your computer to your ZipLevel precision altimeter for direct data transfer. It displays data in both tables and profile graphs using your ZipLevel measurements. The ZipLevel PC serial link is an asset in a wide variety of fields, including, but certainly not limited to, construction site planning, landscape design, road building, archaeology, farming, geophysics, and real estate. This ZipLevel software application lets you move easily from the field to the office to client interactions.

You can use the PC serial link to create accurate, professional-looking plans and charts from your ZipLevel data. With a few clicks you can generate top-of-the line graphics for proposals or client designs. The ZipLevel PC Serial Link consists of a 6' serial cable and LinkSoft software. The serial cable connects the ZipLevel's built-in IR serial port to your computer's serial port. You can also use your computer's USB port with a serial-to-USB adapter (not included). The LinkSoft software is a DOS-based application that uses less than 400KB of memory and is compatible with all 32-bit versions of Windows up to Vista.

The LinkSoft software allows you to transfer up to 132 of your ZipLevel's stored measurements at once, or use the monitor function to log real time elevation and temperature at your choice of interval from 0.33 seconds or longer. You can automatically log your data into a file or printer. LinkSoft files can easily be imported into Microsoft Excel, where you can manipulate your data or transfer your XLS file into most design software applications.
