The SPX Radiodetection eCAT4+ (10/ECAT4+EN71) is an advanced Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) designed to locate buried utilities safely and quickly. It features built-in data logging and depth estimation, making it a critical safety instrument for preventing costly and dangerous cable strikes. The new CAT4 is designed to identify buried utilities much faster and is the perfect locator in the industry to get the results you want. Its digital platform delivers highly refined locate capabilities, specifically designed to help you find more buried utilities. The CAT4 Avoidance Mode lets the user check an intended excavation area for Power, Radio and Genny signals, which recognises located utilities in a single scan. To further enhance the locator's performance, put it together with the new Genny4 in Genny mode and make your task much easier and quicker when detecting. A cable avoidance tool is quick and simple to use and all levels of staff can be trained to use the equipment in less than a day, which could potentially prevent any costly or fatal incidents occurring.
