The PicoScope 4224 (PP492) is a powerful 12-bit 2-channel 20MHz USB-connected scope with a 1% accuracy. The 12-bit A/D is 16x more precise than the normal 8-bit A/Ds of usual PC-based scopes, making it a- great choice for finely-varying signals such as vibration and mechanical analysis or noise measurements.  While 12-bit resolution (adjustable up to 16 bits in enhanced resolution mode) means that this high-resolution oscilloscope suits special signal needs, it is also suitable for general purpose scientific and field use to allow measurements of small signals right up to large voltages.  The PicoScope 4000 Series oscilloscopes have input ranges from ±50 mV to ±100 V full-scale so you can register tiny signals from sensors as well as measure higher voltages from power supply circuits and motor drives.

The PicoScope 4224 oscilloscope is powered from a PC’s USB 2.0 interface, so there's no need for an external power supply. The USB port also delivers high-speed data to the attached laptop or desktop PC to give a responsive, high-resolution display. 80MSa/s real-time sampling makes the 4000 Series probably the fastest available USB-powered 12-bit scopes.
