The Flowatch is built with Switzerland and acts not only as a flowmeter, but also as a thermometer. It can be used to measure various flows including, but no limited to river, ocean, sewage, irrigation canals, air conditioning ducts etc. It can also be used in scientific work and studies in fluid dynamics and hydrological studies.

Also available for purchase and compatible with the Skywatch Flowatch is the hanging water current sensor, which is weighted to measure flows at various depths up to 15 meters (49 feet)
