The General Tools DMM52FSG is a heavy-duty service multimeter notable for its 0 to 20 μA and 0 to 200 μA DC ranges. Ranges this narrow are needed by HVAC/R technicians to coordinate the opening and closing of a furnace or burner's gas valve with the presence or absence of a flame. As a general-purpose multimeter, the DMM52FSG has an excellent figure of merit of 8 functions and 31 ranges. It can measure AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current and resistance, as well as check circuit continuity and diode integrity. The DMM52FSG is ETL certified safe for CAT III 600V use, and it can survive drops from a height of 2 m (6.6 ft.).
