Designed by leaders in innovation at FLIR Systems, the durable power clamp gets you results on tough jobs. In addition to True RMS current and voltage measurements, the CM82’s VFD Mode leverages a low-pass filter that ensures accuracy even when distorted waveforms exist on electronic loads (such as VFD-controlled equipment). Power quality testing and load studies (to plan for future system-wide capacity) demands essential power measurement capabilities that set the FLIR CM82 power clamp meter apart from other test equipment. Measure power up to 600kW as well as Total Harmonic Distortion and harmonics to the 25th harmonic helping you find problems that could cause the malfunctioning, damage or failure of important components. The fast-responding in-rush current mode enables the meter to display the highest current reading in the first 100 milliseconds after the trigger point. This capability is ideal for getting to the root cause of nuisance tripping, spurious resets and transients.
