Its standout feature is Passive Power Mode, allowing detection of 50/60Hz signals without a transmitter—crucial for live power line identification. Using a robust 82.175 kHz signal, the TW82P supports conductive, inductive, and clamp coupling methods, offering superior control and accuracy in field conditions. Standard Mode provides automatic signal tracking with visual and audible guidance, while Lateral Mode helps isolate low-signal laterals near high-load mains. Passive Power Mode enables tracing of energized lines without direct connection. Real-time current, depth, and azimuth readings streamline the process of locating and confirming utility paths. Built to withstand demanding environments, the TW82P features an IP65-rated enclosure and operates in temperatures from -4°F to 140°F.
