The Fisher Labs CCLAMP-5-MF is a 5-inch inductive coupling clamp accessory for the TW9000 Multi-Frequency Underground Utility Locator/Line Tracer System Kit. Its main function is to provide a non-direct connection for the transmitter to an exposed utility, such as a power or telephone cable, by clamping around it and magnetically coupling the signal into the line. This clamp is designed for situations where a direct hookup isn't possible and is useful for locating underground cables by transferring a signal from the transmitter into the utility without a direct connection.
